Cooperation between CRCA Albania & AKSK
The National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK) and CRCA /ECPAT Albania signed today the cooperation agreement, placing a special focus on protecting children from all online risks and harms. The agreement was signed between the Directors of AKSK and CRCA Albania.
AKSK is one of the authorities at the national level in Albania responsible among others for the safety of children on the digital space. The National Internet Safety Platform, iSIGURT.al has closely cooperated with AKSK to follow up cases of CSAM and other digital harms against children. With the increase of online incidents reported by children both organisations deemed as necessary for the relationship to rise to a new level of cooperation.
The agreement aims to: a) raise awareness through educational campaigns for children, parents and teachers; develop educational materials for the safe use of the Internet by children, parents and professionals; strengthen mechanisms for preventing and tackling online abuse; d) create a safe and supportive environment in the digital space for children and young people.
“Children and young people today face an increasingly dangerous digital reality. To make cyberspace safe and protect them is necessary for us all to work together. Alone we will never be able to make digital space safe to children.” – said Altin Hazizaj during the signing ceremony.
