INHOPE's awareness-raising video campaign ‘Report it, don’t ignore it’ nominated for WSIS Project Prize 2015
March 31, 2015
Computers and the internet are arguably some of the world’s greatest inventions: the power at your fingertips to learn, play, connect, interact, create and share. Unfortunately, there is a flip side to everything. Cybercrime, illegal content, including the worst of the worst area: online child sexual abuse. Child victims need protection. Offenders need to be brought to justice. And you, the digital citizens, need to know you are not powerless. If you discover suspected child sexual abuse images or videos online, do the right thing, report it to INHOPE’s member hotlines
INHOPE is pleased to announce that the video has been nominated for the WSIS Prize 2015, in the category ‘ethical dimensions of the information society’. You can vote for it here.
