November 20, 2013
On the 18th November in Zagreb, at the conference ''116 000 number to protect children in Croatia'', the first web page with data of missing children in Croatia www.nestaladjeca.hr was presented. On this webpage, one can find instructions for parents and other useful resources regarding missing children.
INHOPE’s member, the Center for missing and exploited children is also working on a mobile application that will connect to a database of missing children in Croatia. The mobile application will soon be finished and available for download on the same webpage.
The conference was opened by the Croatian Ombudswoman for children, Mrs. Mila Jelavic. Other speakers included, among others, representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Social Policy and youth panels.
