INHOPE Foundation welcomes first hotline

Working in partnership, the INHOPE Foundation and Foro Generaciones Interactivas have identified and overseen the setup of a “hotline” in Colombia in the global fight against Child Sexual Abuse Material and Te Protejo becomes the first hotline in the INHOPE Networks in Latin America.
Te Protejo hotline – part of Red Papaz - has completed all operational and national support due diligence, and the INHOPE Foundation is pleased to accept Te Protejo hotline as an Affiliate to the INHOPE Foundation.
The INHOPE Foundation looks forward to supporting Te Protejo hotline further in order for them to successfully operate in the fight against Child Sexual Abuse Material and the rescue of victims with the goal for Te Protejo hotline to obtain Full Membership to the INHOPE Association.
The goals of the INHOPE Foundation are to financially sponsor and support start up activities of new hotlines outside of the European Union. Enabling a controlled network expansion prioritizing countries and developing countries where CSAM is being facilitated, produced or distributed. The primary objective of the “foundation” will be to raise funds from corporations and foundations to use in the development of these new hotlines worldwide. Funding will be utilized for the purpose of identifying potential candidate national hotlines worldwide, developing regional training, coordination and implementation of best practices and standardization of reporting and analysis, continuing development support and education.
