INHOPE 2011 Annual Report launched

INHOPE - The International Association of Internet Hotlines has launched its 2011
Annual Report. This report details the results of a very productive year for INHOPE.
The main headline points from the 2011 report are:-
- INHOPE network of Hotlines increased to 41 members in 36 countries
- Number of reports handled by INHOPE Hotlines of web based Child Sexual Abuse Material increased by 24%
- Time taken to get illegal content removed / taken down from the web has been reduced (58% within 2 days and 82% within 7 days)
- INHOPE Mobile reporting APP (free) launched to enable mobile device users report any content that they feel may be illegal.
