European Commission launch "A clean and open Internet: public consultation......"

The European Commission today launched a public consultation entitled "A clean and open Internet: public consultation on procedures for notifying and acting on illegal content hosted by online intermediaries".
The responses to the public consultation will assist the Commission in preparing the initiative on notice-and-action procedures which was announced in January 2012 and is scheduled for the end of this year.
The consultation will be available on their
website (click here) until September 5th 2012. It can exclusively be filled in electronically, but a PDF version (to facilitate reading and preparation) is also available on the website.
